HIGH-SPEED IMAGING, MEASUREMENT & ANALYSIS

See what happens too fast to diagnose.

High-speed imaging and measurement for R&D and engineering teams — combining cameras, optics, lighting, triggering and analysis to turn fast events into engineering evidence.

Tell us what happens too quickly to observe or measure. We help determine the frame rate, exposure, field of view, optics, lighting, triggering and analysis approach before you invest.
WHEN HIGH SPEED IMAGING HELPS

What happens too fast to see, measure or diagnose?

Start with the engineering problem, not with a camera specification.

A

Intermittent machine or process faults

B

Fast motion conventional cameras cannot capture clearly

C

Timing problems in machinery, robotics or production

D

Failures that are difficult to reproduce or diagnose

E

Motion, displacement or deformation that needs measurement

F

Fast events that need quantitative engineering data

HOW WE WORK

From fast event to engineering evidence.

We define what needs to be understood, build the measurement around it and integrate a repeatable solution only when needed.

Define

We start with the event, the engineering question and the decision the measurement must support.

Design & Capture

We define the time scale, field of view and resolution, then configure frame rate, exposure, optics, lighting, triggering and synchronization.

Analyse

We extract the relevant motion, timing and measurement data and turn the recording into engineering evidence.

Integrate

If ongoing measurement is required, we turn the validated setup into a repeatable camera, sensor and software solution.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

More than slow-motion footage.

Depending on the application, an investigation can produce the evidence needed to make the next engineering decision.

High-speed recordings

Captured with the frame rate, exposure, optics and lighting required by the event.

Annotated event sequences

Key moments and behaviour highlighted so the event can be reviewed clearly.

Timing & synchronization

Event timing and sequence relationships, including synchronized signals where required.

Motion measurements

Displacement, trajectory, velocity and acceleration where the application permits.

Plots & engineering data

Measurement outputs prepared for technical review and further analysis.

Next-step recommendation

A clear recommendation on whether to stop, retest, use another method or develop a repeatable measurement system.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS & ANALYSIS

See the event. Measure what matters.

High speed imaging can reveal fast industrial behaviour and turn recorded events into measurable engineering data.

Custom Application

Industrial High Speed Investigation

High speed imaging helps reveal what actually happens inside fast industrial processes when conventional observation is not enough.

  • Machine faults and jams
  • Robotics, gripping, release and collisions
  • Actuators, valves and mechanical mechanisms
  • Packaging, filling, sealing and assembly
  • Timing and process sequence investigation
Custom Application

Quantitative Motion Analysis

High speed recordings can be converted into measurements that describe how a component, mechanism or structure actually moves.

  • Displacement and trajectory tracking
  • Velocity and acceleration measurement
  • Event timing and synchronization
  • Deformation and strain analysis where applicable
  • Engineering data export for further analysis
Primary Capability

High Speed Imaging Systems

We configure high speed imaging around the event you need to investigate, not around a camera specification.

  • Application assessment and test planning
  • Camera, lens and lighting selection
  • Frame rate, exposure and ROI configuration
  • Triggering and synchronization
  • On site capture and technical support
  • DITECT systems and demonstrations

Motion & Image Analysis

Recording the event is only the first step. We analyse high speed image sequences to extract measurable engineering information.

  • Motion and trajectory tracking
  • Displacement versus time
  • Velocity and acceleration analysis
  • Event timing and sequence analysis
  • Annotated video, plots and engineering data
  • DIPP Motion and DIPP Strain workflows
MEASUREMENT FIRST

Do you actually need high-speed imaging?

Not every fast engineering problem requires a high-speed camera. We define what must be measured before recommending the equipment. If a conventional camera, sensor, encoder or another measurement method is the better approach, that should be identified early.

High-speed imaging is useful when

the event is too fast to observe clearly, spatial behaviour matters, timing must be correlated with visible motion, or image-based measurements are required.

A simpler method may be better when

the engineering question can be answered reliably with conventional vision, an encoder, vibration sensing, electrical measurements or another lower-complexity method.
